My life these days....

My favorite 4 year old, Linley. Such a pretty princess!!!

"Squishy"....also goes by Cooper.

My weekend entertainment, the Clippers.

My favorite spot these days.

My alarm clock, Ginny.

My life these days is a lot different than my days in Kansas.

Every day I wake up to Ginny, she definitely lets you know when it is time to for her to bed fed. So even if I don't set an alarm I wake up arount 6:30 just to feed her. But she's great to have around, even if I don't always want to get up that early.

Secondly, I wake up to weather that is never below 50 degrees! There were many days that I would be scraping frost off the car in Kansas before going anywhere...NOT here! And thank goodness for that! I can live a very happy life without scraping frost off the windshield.

Next, I now cook dinner almost every night. I was spoiled by the convenience the proximity of family offered, free cooked dinners! And now, well, family is quite a distance from my current home, so I am forced to cook. I've actually learned to enjoy cooking and I think Adam enjoys it as well. Most of the time that is. We also enjoy Starbucks just about whenever we have the craving, we are lucky enough to have one RIGHT behind the apartment! Doesn't get much better than that!

Weekends these days consist of either Clippers, Lakers, movies, shopping, or the beach. I'm not sure the choices were ever this fun or exciting as Kansas choices. Or I guess I should say they're better than the choices in Fort Scott, not Kansas. These options sound just a bit better than "country cruising", don't you think?

In moving to California, I also acquired a new job! Allowing me to meet new people, get out of the house, make some extra money and have fun all at the same time. Not only is it a job, its something I definitely look forward to every day. I get to care for the cutest little California baby I know, Cooper John Biolsi. I could talk for forever about how adorable he is. But I'll keep it short and sweet. This little man is so funny, easy going, cuddly, and just the cutest thing ever. He'll sit there and just start "talking" to anything and everything that will listen. He makes the cutest noises. And just recently he has started laughing! Oh its too adorable! On top of all the things he does, he's the happiest baby I have seen in a long time. So easy going and such a joy to care for. And since I, the nanny, have a new nickname, I guess I should let you guys know I gave Cooper a nickname today while he was sitting in his bumbo chair....Squishy! Because when I set him into the seat, he just looked all comfy and squishy in it, he settled down into it and his belly, cuz he just got done eating, looked all squishy! lol. In a good way of course :)

Well I think this concludes my life in California these days. Life here is great, to be able to spend my days with Adam and just enjoy life with my best friend. I must say I do miss family back home. Family is very important to me and that is the hardest thing about being out here in California, having family so far away. Linley is one whom I miss VERY much. She turned 4 just the other day and I missed her birthday :( so sad. If only I could get my whole family to move to sunny California!!!
