Wednesday. spent the entire day hunting down Tahki Stacy Charles Maya yarn. would have never guessed it'd take ALL day to find a shop that would have some in stock. i even phoned the company directly...come to find out that the yarn has been discontinued. SO sad. love this yarn for photography props. it is the primary medium for this lovely piece...
Thank goodness for the wonderful little shop, Park Avenue Yarns... she is sending me the best item i could ask for this week. This bumpy, bubbly yarn will be in my hands very soon to help me create another gorgeous blanket for an amateur photographer.
Thursday. enjoyed the day with my hubs & little Londyn. filled orders. photographed a few pieces. and actually went to bed early.
Friday. was a slow moving day. started out super sleepy... ya know how sometimes you think wow, i went to bed early and i slept in a little but you feel as though you stayed up super late and woke up early? that's how Friday felt to me. Londyn & I eventually went and visit my Grandma, her Great Grandma, who fell earlier in the week and hurt her back. She now has to have surgery tomorrow... to place cement into her spine to help support the vertebrae.
Saturday. drove to Manhattan, KS. met our brand new niece, Kessly Briar. born to my oldest sister, Jessica...who is now the mother of THREE kiddos!!! Linley, Thayer and now Kessly. Here is a photo of all of us sisters and our babies. and then here is my Mom, Nana, with all of her grandbabies. Linley (6yrs), Charlee (9wks), Paxton (11mo), Londyn (10mo), Thayer (4yrs) and Kessly (4days).
